Cartagena

CARTAGENA

Cartagena is a city on the south-east of Murcia, Spain. It´s got a population of about 218528 inhabitants.

It´s visited by a lot of tourists, especially in summer, because it has got beautiful beaches and wonderful ruins. It´s a friendly, clean and modern city.

It´s history is very interesting, there are many places to visit, for example: the Roman Amphitheatre, the bullring, etc. There are also a lot of shops, (I love shopping), where you can buy nice things. My favourite places are shops and restaurants. There are some parks too. It´s got a very important and a nice port.

Cartagena is 54 kilometres from Murcia. It´s about 45 minutes on the car .

Hi everybody!!!!

My name is Reme. I am twelve years old and I am a student at I.E.S Mediterraneo School. I live in Cartagena, on Sierra del Segura Street. I like the sport a lot, especially gymnastics, I train 4 times week and 3 hours each day. I also like music and arts, I am really into music, but I don´t play any instrument. I hate football, flying planes and some TV programs. My favourite songs are "Because I am Happy" by Pharrel Williams, and "Impossible" by James Arthur. My favourite colours are blue, red and purple. I have a lot of friends, but the best ones are Alba, Paula and Rocío Alba goes to the Benarabi school, because she plays the cello. Paula and Rocío play volleyball at the Cartagena sport centre. 

I love my family, I have a sister, her name is Laura and she is seven years old. She is a very good girl, but sometimes she is a bit naughty. My parents are from a village from Granada, called La Peza. My mum likes reading books and travelling. My dad likes football and sleep a lot! Ah! I also have a pet! His name is Arthur.
